Our New Brand: Celebrating 20 Years

Today, Caring for People Services launches our new brand including a refreshed visual identity in celebration of our 20th anniversary.

Our new brand is the result of deep exploration and strategy that included months of research, planning and development. It reflects feedback from our many stakeholders, including our own team, caregivers and clients. We conducted surveys and interviews with a diverse group to learn more about our community’s needs and what they expect from us. We are thankful to all who participated and are so proud that our new identity reflects both our work and our community.

Our new logo design incorporates a hibiscus flower, inspired by the floral works of Georgia O’Keeffe. The hibiscus symbolizes hospitality, respect and inner peace as well as promotes healing for our clients.

At the center are three abstract hearts that represent the heart of our organization, our clients and our team who work in our two offices supporting the well-being of our clients who need non-medical support and patients who need medical care.

The transparency in the flower’s petals illustrates the openness and clarity from which we always aim to operate. Caring for all our neighbors requires an honest and realistic approach that we always and lovingly seek to provide for our team and clients.

The flower’s central position over the ‘i’ in our organization’s name expresses that our care is tailored to the needs of the individual. Our services are meant to gently envelop each person to ensure everyone has accessible support that enhances their independence and ability to thrive.

We are using a semi-serif font that elevates the wraparound care our expert team provides every day. We’ve nestled “for People Services” into “Caring” to emphasize that we are a trusted provider that brings experienced caretakers into the homes of those we serve.

As we open a new chapter for our organization and look ahead to another 20 years, our hope is that our vision of dignity for all people through accessible, compassionate, quality care is clearly communicated through our new branding.

Caring for People Services was founded in 2005 by John and Virginia Walker after their son Thomas left this world at the age of 26 following a journey with cancer, and became one of the first companies in the area to offer in-home care. We provide services for people who do not need or desire to reside in an assisted-living setting but still need assistance at home. If you believe you or a loved one could benefit from our support, please reach out to us.
